A brazilian record I've been listening to a whole lot lately is Jorge Ben - Força Bruta. Fantastic album.

It's a shame I didn't mention Jorge Ben as I enjoy him for a long time...

Jorge Ben Jor (or simply Jorge Ben, as he prefers...) is the brazilian king of swing & samba-rock... he is in fact, the creator of this new riddim that now many are following called samba-rock...

And he actually did this a looong time ago... If you wanna hear some other great Jorge Ben, check his other earlier works... they are their best albuns imo...

My Jorge Ben top 5:

- 1963 - Samba Esquema Novo
- 1967 - O Bidu Silencio No Brooklin
- 1974 - A Tábua de Esmeralda (His best IMO)
- 1976 - África Brasil
- 1978 - A Banda do Zé Pretinho

And also "Força Bruta" (1970) mentioned by Kalcidis could easily be on this top 5, cause it's equally great as the others...

Or maybe, Jorge Ben should have a top 10...
