Greetings
I suppose that you're talking about Angle La La.
It's a Duke Reid production issued on his Treasure Label.
What a tune !!!!
Respect

Re: nora dean's ay ay ay
The is known by two names:
On the 'Indomitable Spirit of Rastafari' CD & various other sources it is called "Ay Ay Ay"
But elsewhere (probably the single Midnite is talking about) it is called Angie La La.
So there are 2 altenrative names but it is the same song!
Killer tune! Very original! Beautiful piece of music!
There is not so much known about Nora Dean but there is a very nice website about her where you can find more information about her and her recordings:

Owen Gray & Rudies - Ay-Ay-Ay Melodisc(JA)Fab(UK) 1969.
Nora Deans cut was in 1970 with it being titled as both said titles (Ay-Ay-Ay & Angie La La). I know the Treasure Isle reissue has it titled as Angie La La.

I know little of this ladys output in terms of songs however, I was lucky enough to get hold of the below single in Mint condition and on the original 1970 "Chappy" label. A really nice and hard to find 45 I guess?
Ahmad Jamal / Love of A Boy
(Produced by Randy's, 1970. Only available on as a 45 RPM single, released on Chappy.)
Although the title is the name of an influential jazz pianist, this track is a cover version of Miriam Makeba's "The Retreat Song". Nora's African language vocal is strong, including some free vocalization at the opening of the track, as in the original. Although the reggae instrumentation is unexceptional, Nora's vocals make this song exotic.
Love of A Boy wouldn't be worth a second listen, if it wasn't for that voice.
