Was Nitty Gritty really killed by Supercat?

Yes he was. Nitty met supercat outside an NY record store and Nitty pulled his gun but it jammed so supercat drawed his licensed gun and shot nitty in self defense.

Nitty Gritty should have carried a better gun. I am not sure if there is any proof that he was killed by Supercat. He is missed. He didn't release much music before his time was done. But he was one of the best!

well he had plenty tunes which are not hits because they were recorded before the real digital boom so they are just part digital and sound gloomy, i wonder why nobody take those acapellas and build a better riddim for themt but maybe it was all one track recording and there aint no acapella...
