In case y'all don't know.In the years when reggae was emerging another afrocaribbean music born in neighbor island of Puerto Rico and emigrate to New York.That music was Salsa.Instead of Studio One or Black Ark players we have The Fania All Stars.This generation of musicans from reggae and salsa are contemporaries and top of the top in instruments players.Willie Colon is the musican behind the notorious Hector Lavoe.Lavoe was in Puerto Rico like Bob Marley was to Jamaica.
