HERB: smoke, or don't?

We had a little touch on the subject in a few threads so far so why not start up its on thread on the BIG question, herb and reggae, even rasta and reggae - necessay together and intimately linked together, or best without/avoided?

I use to smoke a lot until last year.To elaborate a good point in this issue you need to have some experience.I don't advocate to the use of drugs.Even now i love the weed but can't smoke it because it cause me anxiety attacks.When i'm listen to reggae in my car i just light a little of herb just to keep the smell.Now is like a ritual.Everything in exces cause damage, but to complete the experience that reggae bring herb is vital... I used it to excess in the early days. It cost me a lot of money and even some unwelcome experiences with the Babylon man (but at least I know what it is like to spend time in a police cell).

Nowadays I regulate it by having long breaks without herb and then a little blowout - usually at gigs.

Lots of commercial herb is messed with. You'll find glass powder, crystal meths, herbicide and all manner of things in some herb. Beware. Or better still, grow your own!

So I must be the *brain* of the crew... Having quite a lot.. What happen in your countries bwoys...??
Here in Switzerland, in spring we have a lot of seeds... In summer, nothing more to smoke... And in autumn, when the weed is now a tree on your (discret...) balcony... You have a lot (that you should sprared for the whole year...urgh)!!

Really here in the island if you spit on earth you got a saliva tree.Just imagine we have all the year.Some home grown, some come from South America, some from the neighbor islands.I live in paradise exept the music industry here only care about regeton!!.We just need to better our music industry.
To stay in thread i do believe that herb and reggar are like brothers.It make the experience complete.,

Im not sure that my greatest, nearly *mystic*, reggae experiences were with the use of weed... But Im certain that sometimes, I really feel a connection and know that I GOTTA light a spliff and start the turntable. It generally happens in the night... when Im in an introspective mood...
