Re: Jack Ruby..
DonDigital,
Jack Ruby ran a sound system in Ocho Rios, Jack Ruby's Hi-Fi. Ruby produced much of the early Burning Spear music for Island, according to, "This is Reggae Music", by L. Bradley, Ruby recorded Burning Spear at Studio One. Ruby also recorded several B. Spear albums at Randy's, Ruby recorded Justin Hinds at Channel One. He must have also had at least a rudimentary studio of his own as the classic "Jack Ruby's Hi-Fi" is credited to having been recorded at Jack Ruby's studio on the liner notes. L. Bradley also indicates that Ruby brought his tapes to Tubby for mixing. Ruby also produced Black Slavery Days which was recorded at TSOSA studio, according to the liner notes.
I'm not sure what you were looking for, but I guess this is somethin.
