matisyahu is worse listening. I spoke about him on the modern reggae topic. But he's not islamic at all, is jew, hassidic, a kind of orthodox jew from N-Y. The music is roots and he sings with an old school hip hop influence. He also use religious voice technics and he's absolutly amazing at beat box ! I saw him 3 weeks ago in Paris, he's also been in London and last year I saw him in Montreal. I think he only have one album you can get on his website (there is also videos, etc.): www.hassidicsuperstar.com if I remember

Hi everybody.
I guess some of you know dub incorporation, a french band from St Etienne. Some of the musicians are from north Africa and one of the singers sings in "kabyle", a language spoken in morocco and algeria. I don't know if it can be called "islamic reggae" but it sure is worth listening.
