"Theme A Ling" from "Juk's Incorporation" Studio 1 lp - used to sound great on my valve amp and big aluminium cone single speaker set up years ago.

The tunes that have touched me the most are often the same tunes - or so I've later heard from internet, from webpages like this one - that are dubbed these so called "Shaka killers".

As my nickname suggests, I'm only a youth, plus I'm not from UK, so many of the top tunes (including Jah Free's incredible "Vampire", which I listed) I have found and liked well before I knew barely anything about the man Jah Shaka.

Now, if some record collectors have, in the internet, generated a certain "list", which goes by the title "Shaka killers", does it really mean that if a man plays a tune that happens to be on that (extremely unofficial & dubious, at best) "list", that same man just can't be following his own taste?

Or, when Shaka plays a released tune, does it make tune such a hallowed piece that no man can play it again and say he actually likes the tune and is touched by it?

...or maybe I just haven't been in roots reggae sessions for two to three decades so that certain tunes would start to bore me.

But if you ask me, the man Shaka simply has a great taste when it comes to deep roots music. Respect Everytime!
