I don't really do much CD ripping nowadays so I don't use anything, but if I need to, I use iTunes.

Why do I dislike WMP? Anyone who uses a Mac soon develops a dislike of almost any Microsoft applications - Windows itself especially!

And I can't tell you how much I enjoy using an Operating System that is immune to virus and malware in general.

I can second that Nero is good for ripping, i use Winamp which can be a little complicated to get used to but when you do its very fast and efficient
