I BOUGHT THIS RECORD OVER THE WEEKEND WHICH I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR . IT WAS THE SENSATION - BORN TO LOVE YOU ON TECHNIQUES LABEL
I THOUGHT IT WAS A CORNELL CAMPBELL AND THE UNIQUES ALBUM. DOES ANY BODY KNOW THE DETAILS OF THIS RECORD LP? WHO IS IN IT? IS SLIM SMITH SINGING AND WHEN EXACTLY WAS IT RECORDED. PLEASE SHARE AS MUCH INFO AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU ALL AND JAH BLESS

I have the album as well, a nice one. I guess these are re-recordings of some older material, for example "everyday is a holiday" is not the original Treasure Isle album. Dont know more though...isnt there a list of players on the Cover? Is Sly and Robbie in it, this would be a clear sign that these are re-recordings. By the way, I dont think Slim Smith is singing, I think he left the Techniques much earlier....nice article about Techniques group and label in the new "Natty Dread" magazine by the way
