Cheers Version Control )
Fittest Horns would fit ;o) with what I've heard as the horns are out front on the Dub I mentioned
Must keep an eye out for this 10inch
There is another recut/remix of this tune by Mafia & Fluxy with the riddim in a bit more steppers style, still basically quite the same tune all the way. It is to be found on Roots & Culture vol. 6 cd under the title of "Call On Jah". Actually I think the vocal recording on all the three cuts mentioned is the same one, as it does sound so much the same on all of them. I am not sure if he had first hand information, it's been a while, but I once heard at least speculation from a friend that Mafia & Fluxy got the original Barry vocal from Bunny Lee and just played the riddim over for the recut(s).
There's also a version on the 'Jah Love Rockers' double compilation, listed as 'No Wicked Shall Enter (The World of Zion)' by Barry Brown. Can't help with the lyrics though, I'm afraid...
@Survival, lyrics of NO WICKED SHALL ENTER by BARRY BROWN, from memory:
If you are a wicked man you can not enter the kingdom of Zion, o no
If you are a wicked woman you can not enter the promised land of Ethiopia, o no
Better call on to Jah Jah
I and I father
Selah
Amlak
Jah said not one of his children shall go down with the walls of Jericho
Let Jah arise and let his enemies be scattered away
How good and how pleasant it is for I and I to dwell together
In the light of Jah Jah
(???) my brothers and sisters
