The Joint
Both are from Pressure Sounds. Why the reissue of the reissue? What are the essential differences?
The track listing for "Brand" 1995 looks to be more faithful to the original "Brand" 1977 LP and features two bonus tracks.
And this year's "Brand/The Joint" follows the track list for "The Joint" 77, but omits a track.
What's the deal? Is the older reissue "Brand" 95 now discontinued?

I just noticed that the re-reissue of Brand on Pressure Sounds is missing 3 tracks from the earlier reissue, and even lacks the dubs of the songs Jonah and I Broke the Comb, which happens to be my favorite rhythm on Rasta Communication. It appears to add alternate versions of 3 of the tracks instead.
I would really like some explanation. It's a bit frustrating and confusing. Why change it and remove songs with no explanation. In the quote from Pressure Sounds above they don't appear to mention this.
Maybe I'm missing something? Did they just retitle the songs and they're actually the same? Did Brand always lack the dubs for those two songs?
It also appears the track order was changed.
Has anyone compared the two side by side?
