hi guys
who has the "rite sound story" album produced by roy sinclair?
iam also wondering whether there are other singles by short-lived group the mellows who performed pray to jah.i once came across a song called"send another moses attributed to one mellows

Actually there are two "areas" regarding the Roy Sinclair prods.

First he started to produce some tune in Jamaica. The Rite Sound Reggae Story compiled some of these first production. It's mostly, Gladstone Anderson & Jackie Mitto who were the actual producer (R Sinclair behing more an executive prod).

He also open a shop in UK and started to produce some UK reggae tunes. The LP "Scattarock" is a good exemple of these production.

So, one producer and two kind of reggae.

The tunes I can point out as really good one (and not from these two LPs) are:

Revelation "Jah Feeling" (Rite Sds 12")
Jah Fatta "Free Rasta Free" (Rite Sds 12")

There is also a jackie Mittoo tune named "Ayatollah" which use the rhythm from Humble Yourself by Winston Jarrett on the Rite Sd Raeggae Story comp.

Actually, the "Jah Feeling" 12" credits as producer Roy Sinclair on the UK label and Jackie Mittoo on the Jam 12". Bothe on Rite Sounds.

Yep the Rite Sound reggae Story comp is a very good one. Listened it yesterday.

I was reading to those posts and I realize something I have Jah feeling on a 7" and the label is Write sound
So i think rite sound became write sound......
I have a beautifull 12" of scatterock on Rite sound
Wonderwoman check it out
And what about the willows "send another moses" a good friend of mine is looking after it for a long time but he told me it was a studio 1 realease

this track is a wicked track too.send another moses.but ido only have it on audio tape.it seems to me the mix is remindful of the black ark upsetters sound.i may be wrong but i have a strong feeling that it is.

Yes Bredras - THE WILLOWS´ Send Another Moses is Studio One stuff. Dub version reissued dis year on STUDIO ONE DUB 2.
