But my advice is be reckless and just buy stuff on spec. You can always resell what you don't like.

I recently started putting my collection back together, buying stuff I stupidly sold in the early 80s. At first I would ONLY buy what I once had, but as a result of the odd job lot purchase I got exposed to stuff I'd never heard before and found it rocked (like you have done with Jazzbo).

Try some dub.

Some ebayers and record sites put sound clips on, allowing you to 'taste and try before you buy'
