Not every track is good, but enough are that it seems worth it to me. I doubt I'd pay the new price, though.
Most if not all of the albums on Jamaican Recordings label are old instrumentals remixed by an anonymous mixer in an unnamed modern studio passed off as "rare" or "lost" cuts. This might explain the ambiguity in reviews.
Last weekend I found "So Long Rastafari" on (Harry J's Label) at a garage sale in Berkeley and I could of got it for $5.00, but the fact that it wasn't so easy to come by slipped out and I ended up getting it for $15.00. I love buying vinyl off of people who don't know what they have:)
