Listing all my 7 inch 45s and some LPs and discos

Post by leggo rocker »

I finally got off my butt and managed to list some stuff one ebay. I am selling MOST of my 7 inch 45 collection as I rarely play them. There's about 50 of them to sell.

I am also selling my duplicate Lps and 12 inch 45s.

I'm 'borrowing' my wife's eBay shop, so check out:

The records are neatly catagorised so you can easy find them in amongst all of her fantastic art!

Hope you find something you like.

Just finished listing the first batch of 12 inch discos and a couple more LPs. I still have about 200 more to list. :(

Thanks Bellyman! Did you pick up a pair of Laura's high heels for yourself while browsing!

I am trying REAL hard to grade conservatively - as I always do - but especially so this time as Laura has said she'll hang my wedding tackle from the top of Lincoln Cathedral if I get a negative feedback on her account...

More records loaded both as auctions and as shop inventory last night. Please take a look.

Just a couple of hundred more to list *groan*

Laura is Loris mad. She's writing a children's book about the Slender Loris (also aimed at grown ups).

Such a shame that greed and ignorance is going to make these (and many other) lovely animals disappear from this world pretty soon.

BTW, my daughter Annie still treasures the Snow leopard woolen 'Christmas' decoration I bought from your shop last year!

I still have some Snow 'Pard finger puppets - I expect one could find its way to your daughter, are you at the same address? Good to know there's a young recruit out there!

Think I read somewhere that the Loris is a really unusual species, unrelated to much else? My local zoo has Lemurs (threatened by the sisal industry amongst other things), I helped in a small way with some enrichment for them a while back which was a nice way to feel a bit involved.

It's a terrible thought that mass extinctions may be our legacy to the world. The sheer miracle of life on our planet is awesome, and we could not have become human as we know it if the animals hadn't developed with us. The terrible thing is a lot of conservation is relatively easy - saving the Tiger for instance has been done once but now they're threatened again by the greed of poachers ...

Anyway, good luck to Laura with the Lorises!

As all these creatures are God's creatures we need not fear their extinction. They are only being hidden from our view because we no longer deserve to share a space with them. But they will never be truly 'extinct' as HE still has the blueprints. Of course, that's no excuse for mankind's actions. And for sure we're gonna be punished for it!

Yep, the Loris is a strange one. But I am not sure of its connections, you'd have to ask Laura!

Funnily enough I started calling Laura by the name Loris shortly after I first met her, even before I knew of her Loris fascination (which I believe started when she sketched them at London Zoo while at art college). I just thought Laura sounded like Loris which is an Italian boy's name and is the christian name of a motorcycle racer I have known!
