i wonder again about a riddim, i am sure to have hear tune before that goes something like "dreadlocks in the moonlight" but dont know exactly.
and another tune i think by mikey dread something about "confess"..

i know a couple tracks about the greenbay incident, a lee perry ft. lord sassafrass track, and a jah lloyd one, maybe one of those two is one the riddim you're talking about?

what are some good lee perry riddims aside this one? i know of police & thief + curly locks.

the jah lloyd one is called greenbay incident but it's on a different riddim than the sassafrass track, i have a different song on a channel one cut of this riddim by trinity called "heng on sloopy"

other good lee perry riddims are pretty numerous, the aforemention jah lloyd is also know as jah lion and has an album with perry called colombia colly which has many of perry's best riddim tracks

i have a perry lp called megaton dub pt.2 which is killer and has that sassafrass track as well as the riddim from congos "fisherman"

i'm not a perry expert, but i know one of his most popular riddims is "party time" original track by the heptones and there's some dubs and dj versions of it out

"Dreadlocks in Moonlight" is one of my favorite Black Ark rhythms, especially for the Heptones' singing on "Green Bay Incident." Another version of this rhythm is Mikey Dread - "Dread at the Controls."
