Trying to figure out the artist on this upsetters label tune. The only info on the 45 is black smoke signal. Will appreciate it if I could get more info.

The artist do sound like Earl 16.

Maybe the label is a miscredit, some lyrics might help.

Earl 16 did Freedom (aka Right You) which came on Federal 7" and Cheating which was on an Upsetter 7", i cant think that there`s any others.

As I said, this is a jamaican 7". The track hasn't come up anywhere else.

Just seen "Black Smoke Signal" on ebay with a sound clip and it turns out to be the tune more commonly known as Cheating.
