Re: Identify track
Sorry Survival, but the share site you use sucks! I've tried to get stuff from there before when posted here and I always get told I'm in some queue and would I like to pay to get it faster.
So I end up never listening to these tracks.
Maybe you could try putfile where people can hear without d/l or sendspace.com which is useful, free and fairly fast too.

Awww, Rapidshare isn't that bad. I chose the free download, waited, entered a visual confirmation, then the download started. Sorry, I can't identify the artist, must less the song and album.

Re: Identify track

But: (edit)
If you click on the link, choose free, and wait a few secons, enter a security code, you can download the song for free at Rapidshare

Re: Identify track
Maybe I've just been unlucky with rapidshare, or just too impatient.
Anyway, downloaded it and can't ID it and don't even recognise the voice. Lovely tune though, I do like lead guitar on reggae.

Re: Identify track
Its the Silvertones - African Dub, it came on Trojan 7" in the Uk and on Eagle 7" Ja, it also saw release on 12" titled something like La La La La Lu ?, i cant remember the label but think it a US or Canadian press. I believe its seen issue on some Trojan box set. Its a later relick of the tune they did for Lee Perry known as Rejoice Jah Jah Children which came on thier Silver Bullets album and has been available on 7" Upsetter repress in recent years.

Re: Identify track
Thanks Stoneman for that very informative answer.
I have Silver Bullets LP on CD somewhere, I must dig it out and have another listen!

Re: Identify track
Rejoice Jah Jah Children is without doubt the best track on Silver Bullets, and came with its dub included, as far as i know it never saw 7" in its day, only in more recent years.
African Dub is recorded and mixed at Channel One.
