Studio One V Channel One - Which studio gets your vote

My vote goes to Channel One.The style for me make the difference.I like the musicans aproach at Studio One but the music seems to me a little uptempo.In Channel One is like they slow down a little and the effects in the music feel more deep.Of course Studio One have classics in fact some of my favorite record but overall the Channel takes it.

Wow this is difficult, it like picking your favorite child which is not fair. Like someone said Studio one has the classics, the main reason i listen to channel one sessions is because of the roots radics vibe

I agree with your last statement.

Studio One probably issued between 250 and 350 albums although that would include some different issues of the same album. One other factor is that that the Studio One releases included a number of Gospel,Calypso and Mento albums which don't appear on here.

Singles issues would be a good comparison. I believe that Studio One released over 6,000 singles but I have no idea how many Channel One has issued.
