A few years back I was at a friends house looking through his collection of books, and I came across this book that had quite a bit of information on Jamaal Pete, it had color photos of many of his album Art and other works as well, I don't even remember what the cover looked like, but I remember that the book wasn't on Jamaal Pete alone. Anyone know about this ?

Matty,
It could be this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Reggae-Explosion- ... 0810937891
It has cover art, lots of other pictures and loads of text.

On the other hand. Maybe not.
I've just had a very quick scan through Reggae Explosion and I can't see any info on Jamaal Pete.

The book I linked to has interesting text - and lots of artwork. Big colour plates of the artwork and photos stuff too.
I can't find it just now, which is vexing me as I saw it a couple of days ago and decided it wasn't in a safe place so I moved it. But where to is anyone's guess.

Thanks Rob and Leggo,
I think leggo was right with "Stir It Up !" I did some more research and it was released a month prior in Europe with the black cover instead of red, and that cover looks familiar, now that I think about it.
Thanks 2 U both,

Well worth picking it up Matty.
In fact, I might get another copy so I can break it up and frame some of the artwork for my den.

Re: Reggae Book ID:
I'll second that. "stir It Up" is well worth having although there is far more Wilfred Limonius artwork in the there than Jamaal Pete.
