Hello, I used to download endless amounts of rare reggae at this site oink.cd before it recently got shut down. many people referenced RA, and I think I have seen some familiar user names here. I live in the united states and already spend the majority of my paycheck each month to Jammyland, but Oink.cd was a source of music I could never aquire anywhere else, and wouldn't be able to afford even if available. If anyone has found any alternatives please share the wealth.
For those of you who have a problem with music downloading, criticism is not necessary. Oink.cd introduced me to a library of music I would never be able to purchase, reggae is essential for living and I need to live.

Re: Oink.cd
So, what do you want to say? An alternative for a reggae music download site?
I think that's against the server rules? Cause you see what happend to oink.cd, we don't want that with RA..

Re: Oink.cd
actually it was illegal. I appologize, I forgot this topic could not be dicussed. If anyone knows of a legal site with hard to find reggae downloads that would be great as well.

the russian site www.alloffmp3.org is GREAT! It has all these totally hard to find, only vinyl releases for a couple of cents! It's the wickedest site, so check it out!

I think OiNK was in a legal grey area... they didn't actually host any files on their site, but it enabled file sharing.
Would you really trust your credit card with the Russian mob behind sites like allofmp3? I sure wouldn't, and none of the money you pay is going to the artists anyway. Just download DC++ (dcplusplus.sf.net), get a hublist from dchublist.com and use the "Roots-Massive" and "One Love Foundation" hubs. The "GanjaLand" hub is supposed to be good too, but you have to register with an admin and I was never able to get in contact with one...
