Just buy it !

and I Sus too, IMO this one is better than Rasta but is a bit more expensive too. Anyway, both are great, backed by Aswad's musicians. If you like Aswad debut albums, you'll definitely like it. Very refined and subtile reggae.

Funny, I just dusted this one off last week and gave it a listen after a long while. Its a solid album, not an all-time classic in my opinion, but most of the songs are good. I especially like Rasta, Brothers In Trouble, and Dress Back. Haven't heard I-sus, but if it is better than Rasta, then I'll have to get it soon!

If forgot something : both have been reissued by Virgin (LP and CD) lately and so are not difficult to find. I've seen Rasta several times in second-hand shops in London.

Survival,

Get both. Delroy Washington is criminaly underrated singer. Great music, awesome singing. I-Sus is more up-tempo, with a little bit of jazz in it, while Rasta is like "blues-reggae". Two great albums!!!

I love that video from Aquarius documentary : http://www.roots-archives.com/artist/18 ... T0L_wshiQg

*Jah wonderful*, taken at a Notting Hill carnival during the 70s. I put it in my mp3 player getting off the train in Victoria station when I went to Notting Hill the two last summers, just to be in the mood :).
