I am not mad about Gentleman neither, but I did an interview with him and must say he's a very nice and humble person. And I respect his courage to perform in big JA events. He has even been heavily bottled at Sting, but told me it had been a very strong and instructive experience to him...
I also respect his attitude on stage. I saw him 3 or 4 years ago, and the show lasted almost 3 hours.

I saw Gentleman about 4 times already-can't get away from him when you're german, he's quite popular and managed to get lots of airplay in my country.
He's a good performer but i have to say that since his "journey to jah" LP his sound didn't move on. Don't get me wrong; it's on a high level and i'm glad to hear some reggae on commercial radio but it's nothing exciting anymore.. but than i guess it's the problem with all new roots stuff...

Recently bought Confidence. Have to admit that there are some good tracks on there. Overall though something is lacking for me. Agree that's the problem with all the new roots stuff: songs all sound the same and it gets boring after a couple of tracks.
