I am playing the copy of Horace Andy, Dance Hall Showcase that I have under my control here right now.

It's an original Yellow label, out of New York. I know who bought it and when so I can be sure it is an original issue from back in the year of it's release.

It has four tracks on the B side label. Track 4 being 'Eating mess', What's more, unlike Wareika's copy, the track is actually there. The B side has four tracks and I'm listening to track four, 'eating mess' right now.

Track two, side one, is Lonely Woman, so not omitted on this pressing!

I love this LP, and have always enjoyed that track - with a brilliant message there for us to heed.

Thanks all for reminding me just how much I love it!

Sorry wareika, but you're wrong on this one.
I own the yellow-labeled Wackies release (W-1383) since 1982 and it has in fact that fourth track ('Eating Mess') at the end of side 2.
rougher yet

Leggo Rockers, Can you give me the actual matrix number?

Mine look like the original press with a far more simple back cover compared to the UK one (no pics just track list and backing band infos).

W1383A
W1383B

Nothing else on runout at all.

Back of sleeve has only track listings, title (with Wackies logo Lion next to title), names of players and producer and distributor.

"Distributed by Wackies Bx. N.Y."

Front of sleeve is very pale greys, paler I think than the later UK issues?

Thanx Leggo

Got the very same cover with only six tunes listed on back cover and all other details matching with your description.

Mat# W 1383 A1 // B1 (small 1 after A and B) there are also two tiny signes which look like a kinda of signature...

Thanx again

Hi Wareika

I checked my copy again.

Absolutely no '1' after the matrix. And no other markings at all except W 1381 A and W 1381 B.

The signature you noticed, does it look like a little harp?

Does this mean I have a really rare copy? :D Or is it your copy that's the rare one!

Whatever, I'm glad to have the extra track!
