Re: Earl Chinna Smith
don't think it's ever been reissued.
i don't think it would sell well, just chinna doing guitar solos, most people wouldn't enjoy it
i think it's a pretty good album personally, features riddims like cornell campbell's "stars"

The original press sells at high prices on ebay.
I think, a re-pprss could be interesting....

i have a bredren who has the original album and it sounds really good. i figured they dont have a repress. instrumental roots music is the hardest to find due to unpopularity.

Re: Earl Chinna Smith
worth finding though, i really enjoy listening to it, the song on the stars riddim, "rocking melody" is just pure niceness!
but it's not a popular album at all, i really don't think most people would like it

As a guitar player, another guitarist is always popular to me.
Think of Ernest Ranglin...not popular...?
