Up front roadshow, Rockers roadshow, Stereo classic from Birmingham. Coxon, Shaka, Unity Ghettotone & not forgettin' Saxon. Anybody remember these sounds used to RUN TINGS.

Bless, a bit before my time, Shaka still plays out, Jungleman should also be on your list,but i went to a dance last night, in tottenham london, King Earthqake v Jah Voice, 2 sounds from the midlands, tear up the place, dub for dub, my head is still hurtin!!, pure bass, lovely vibes, lovely music, roots music will never die!!

Do not recall either of these 2 sounds but will look out for them. I am always on the look out for sound tapes, especilly from the 80's. Like to hear the mike men chatting and doin' a ting on their respective sets.

IN THE NORTH. Iration Stepppas keeping the vibes in Leeds, invite many a sound up to play. Them alone in the north east... Messenger - Caladonia's finest... roots and culture all night every month in Edinbourgh.

But none mightier than Shaka.... TIME IS RUFF, TIME IS TUFF, need some concious vibes....

do you have tapes for the first two sounds? Up Front and Rockers? would be especially interested in these. I'm also interested in any good quality tapes from the 80s. my list is

in Leeds were ras sparta and maverick international, two great soundsystems..now theres nothing.

Jah Tubbys and Abashanti play some fairly big gigs, down in wiltshire,berks, bristol way theres a bit lotta free parties where the reggae is loved.
