"Gussie Presenting I Roy" reissue on Trojan - is there really a 2CD version?
I finally bought a copy of this album - it's a 2007 reissue version on Trojan (cat. 06076-80569-2) with 23 tracks on it. I'm now seeing listings for a 2CD version with 40-some tracks, also listed as being a 2007 release. Does anyone know if two versions really came out, and if so, why? I'm glad to finally have a copy of this album, as I Roy is probably my favourite DJ, but maybe I should remember not to buy things without doing research first.

Disc 2 contains, among other versions, the original cuts of the tracks that I Roy DJs over.
There is, for example, the original vocal cut of "Black Man Time" - Slaving (Every Day) by Lloyd Parks - plus 3 additional versions on this rhythm.

Thanks - at least I know there is another version. I can't figure why Trojan would have done it that way, but I've seen other albums released in both single and double CD versions at the same time. I will have to look up a track listing and see how many of the disc 2 songs I have already (I'm sure I have some (Ken Boothe's "Black, Gold and Green", for example) or could get elsewhere, to see if it would be worth trying to get hold of the 2CD version instead.
