hi junior
i think threads like this should raise the awarenesss about the ncessity and need to bring back vintage music and traditional reggae bands back on the scene,as more and more people long for this type of music.i always think about a tour of artists with the line up that performed on their most succesful albums.for exemple seeing again max romeo doing a tour of europe with what was the upsetters still some of them are still alive or an upsetters revue with some of the artists that were on the black ark roster, depending on the availability of the musicians, something of a revival festival that will undoubtedly take the fans on a trip down memory lane.just to give you an example.i really thinkthat plans like that should be considered.
i hope and pray all is well with you and yours

Hi Junior Dan,

I recently bought the Dan-Ites 7" with your & Solid Foundation's version of "A House Is Not A Home". Great dark and moody version of this song! To my ears, it really sounds like it was recorded at the Black Ark (just as "Look Out For The Devil"). Can you confirm this?

Also, will it be included on the upcoming CD?

Greetings Davve....yes man you know your muzik. It was recorded at Black Ark and it was my first vocal recording during the early seventies. Yes it will be included on the vinyl album which should be out early summer. It will also include unreleased songs.
