I have "Ivory Towers" and think it is a very poor album. It's a very modern sound and not the rootsy album I assumed it would be.
Particularly surprised as, if I remember rightly, it's produced by Jack Ruby.

Just checked and it is produced by Jack. In fact, I bought it on the back of the scorching Earth Last Messengers track - "[Hypocrites](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/5 ... light=6581 )" - on the Jack Ruby Hi Fi album.

The two Identity albums are okay. Decent mid to late 80s style of roots on Island Records. Their song, "Rejoice", always sounded much heavier than all their other tracks. Nothing essential but pretty good for the timeframe they were in.

I liked many of the songs on Banzani, if I remember right, I'd say it's his best LP (so far)
