technical question
I was wondering which techniques you all use if the middle whole of your LP/single is too small to fit smoothly on your deck?
Mercy a gone and judgment a come!

Re: technical question
Go to your local hardware or tool store and buy a small, fairly smooth round file sized just a little larger record hole.
That's the Hi-Fi solution.
The Lo-Fi technique is a small but sharp penknife - again, just a little larger than the hole in its widest point is best. Insert it into the centre hole and twist gently and briefly. Works a treat. Get rid of all the bits of wax though, they'll muck up your needle.
The ultra lo-fi solution is to make it have it, force the record on and then spend ages trying to ease it off again afterwards

Re: technical question
the lo-fi technique tends to work best for me. only takes a few seconds but theres some care to be taken if you do it wrong you can mess up a record by making the hole too big.

I guess you could always use a dremmel and grind down the spindle on the record deck.
Just kidding! Do not try this at home folks!
