Having a Triston Palmer session:

I'm trying to decide which of the Triston Palmer LPs I have is the best. This one is a great Sugar Minott production - but how does it compare to the next ones?

This is a corker. It really rocks. Don't be put off by the fact that it is a lovers vocal LP. It's ruff stuff, not crooning!

This was the first Triston LP I ever heard, way back when it was released in 1982, so it is the one I am most familiar with. This gives it an advantage over the other two, plus the fact that it is a showcase LP - probably my favourite LP format.

But:

Joker Lover shades it for me. It is such a great LP it has to be top of these three.
