This is an oft missed point. All these MP3s out int he wild, most of them come from vinyl recorded by people who have collected the actual original or repressed recordings on vinyl. NONE of this was ever released on MP3, although iTunes does have a fairly decent stock of reggae for download, at last.

So without our big stacks of vinyl, you MP3 guys would have next to nothing to listen to.

Long live wax!

I actually carry around a portable record player and use it - though only when I'm going to buy records.

Hey guys,

Lighten up, I only jest.

But I have come across some real generous people on this site with serious collections who are more than willing to share their music without gain.

Infact these same people seem honoured to be in a priviliged postion to be able to make their rare gems, that are out of circulation, available to people like me to who have not got the time, money or resources to go tracking them down.

So whether its Vinyl, CD or CDR its all music. Music I would not be able to get any other way.

Each to their own, so cool down bredda`s

Deeper Roots is a fine one in these more 'modern' times!
