With 3 kids running around, the turntable is coming out less and less and CDs are becoming more important.

The turntable thread is also used for CDs (and even MP3s), so in a way it is a shame to detract from the main source of this.

I dunno, ask my son, I gave it to him for Christmas as I don't use it anymore.

on my cd player there's.... my records... I always transfer my records on cd... then I listen to it without any damage for my records...

if you can find a record player for my car it could be great... hehehe

Well guys, I always thought that "turntable" thread is also for cds. We don't need to be such purists;)

The turntable thread is for posting whatever you are listening to on whatever medium.

I'm not sure of the wisdom of splitting the thread like this.

I would like to close this thread and direct people to the original - but then I'd get a whole heap of flack for being a vinyl elitist.

Perhaps it make sense to edit the title of the original turntable thread to "what are you listening to right now?" and close this one.
