Hi Rasteo

I do have Urban Guerilla and it's imho very poor compared to what they did before (like reggae hit showcase and bankrupt morality). A bit digital, a bit pop, if i remember correctly. I never had the chance to listen to writings on the wall but i think it has a good reputation.

Yes netfa, I agree, the lead singer seems to sing as he hear another riddim.... and sometimes it's horrible but when the riddim is so great it makes something raw still. I have bankrupt morality and burning blake, both are quite good and now i get used to the vocal style. But my favorite one from SOJ is Home to Zion. Lp version is a killer but I got the 12" also and the extended disco mash up di dance !!!

:-))

Well, right, sometimes the vocals are terribly out of tune.
Check out their album called Universal Message.
It´s their best one. Seems the vocalists had some intensive rehearsal or vocal lessons.

It´s their best album and it is a killer.
