Loved that one for a very long time. And the other by the same girls that also comes on the Top Ranking label (I've never seen this on the Wackies label).Survival wrote:

Many of the tunes are repeated on the second LP. I personally prefer the first much more.

By first do you mean first chronologically (Reggae Vibes) or first listed int his thread (Lover's Rock) ?
I like them both but as a fan of showcase LPs I guess I'd choose Lover's Rock if I absolutely had to split them.

Also look out for the superb 'Black Girl / Boy I love You' 12 inch 45 by Joy Card. Absolute killa!

I think the African Roots set is pretty up there with the best...especially Act 2 and Act 5
