the ras portraits albums are always low price, there's lots of them for a variety of different artists, that's the point of the ras portraits series is to offer the songs for a low price, since the albums are best of compilations they are usually good, i can't say about the mad proffessor one(i don't own it), but if you're a fan of any of his other work you'll probably like it

Mad Professor is obviously an aquired taste. I would say though that this album isn't a great representation of his work and that you'd be better off getting one of the early dub me crazy series - 1, 2 or 6 are good. Mind you, if its that cheap why not find out for yourself! If you were going to get any compilation then 'method to the madness' is OK but concentrates mostly on his later stuff.
