Haven't heard this LP. But I love Barrington's work, mostly.

YES

It has 3 superb extended tracks in "Im Not In Love" "The Love Of Jah" and "Run Come Ya Man".

This is probably about my favorite Barrington Levy album along with "Teach Me Culture" which to me always seems to be overlooked

This LP seems to me to be more in the style of Bounty Hunter and Barrington's earliest work than all the stuff that came after Englishman. Great LP, no doubt.

and yes, I agree with Rootsman on the 3 tracks he chooses ! Love Of Jah on this LP murders the other 7 mixes / cuts (Gorgon / Wild Fire) and has a much better dub although slightly on the short side :\ (2 mins if i remember well - would almost die to hear one more minute - i thought I'd die, but then noticed hearing might be a little difficult)
Im not in Love is the same mix as the JB 12" but a little shorter (but long enough)- under 7 minutes mins instead of 9! - The title track is also a different mix to the 7" wicked LP overall!

This one is in my personal collection and not listed on the site. Very tough to let go this one, but if the price is right I would be more willing. A rare LP indeed with some wicked extended versions (almost showcase style, but not entirely. This is an excellent US press on the Jah Life label with Sellassie I on it, catalog number JL026. I believe this is a late 80's press. Don't know if it ever came in a picture sleeve, atleast it didn't when I bought it.- Cover or not, it's the music you want anyway! PM me if you are interested.
