Hey jdogg925!

If you travel a little bit thrue this website, you'll find only music from the 70's and early 80's (as your list is refearing to) and mostly all of them records are worth a listening!
If you'd like to give some listenings to records check this website
http://www.reggae-vibes.fr/centralisati ... ralisation
This page contains all the audio samples from www.strictly-vibes.com and with the audio files it's a good way to fix a music style on an artists name.

Maybe you could start with:

Barry Brown
Augustus Pablo
Yabby You
The Heptones

Those famous names will lead you in no time to other artists!

See you

if you really want some recomendations just type in your favorite backing bands, roots archives will give you a list of all the singers that they have backed.
start with

backing band- aggrovators
- soul syndicate
- revolutionaries
- black disciples
-roots radics
- high times players

this should keep you busy collecting for a couple of years
