Oh, there is just too much good music out there to close the gate at 5 non-reggae albums I like. Reggae has the lions share of my music collection, but there's good stuff in all genres I believe. Tho' I still haven't got into hard house! (not that I've tried that hard :))

**5 Soul/Funk albums**
Curtis Mayfield - Superfly
Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
Parliament - Mothership Connection
Sly And The Family Stone - There's A Riot Going On

**5 Blues dudes you should definitely listen to!**
Muddy Waters
Mississippi John Hurt
Howlin' Wolf
Blind Willie Johnson
Little Walter

**5 Post Punk albums (not really a punk fan I'm afraid)**
PIL - Metal Box
Gang Of Four - Entertainment!
Wire - Pink Flag
Devo - Q:Are We Not Men? A:We Are Devo!
Talking Heads - The Name Of This Band Is...

**5 Favourite Nick Cave albums (I do really like him!)**
Let Love In
Tender Prey
Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus
Junkyard
No More Shall We Part

**5 favourite non reggae albums of the last year or so**
The National - Boxer
Six Organs Of Admittance - Shelter From The Ash
Sun Kil Moon - April
Bat For Lashes - Fur And Gold
Grinderman - Grinderman

and a bunch of other great records -

Fujiya Miyagi - Transparent Things
Gories - I Know You're Fine, But How You Doin'?
Arvo Part - Fur Alina

Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced?
The Modern Lovers - The Modern Lovers
Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground And Nico

Archie Bronson Outfit - Derdang Derdang
Uncle John And Whitelock - There Is Nothing Else...
Fugazi - 13 Songs

Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin'
Bob Dylan - Desire
Bob Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home

Suicide - Suicide
Kraftwerk - The Man Machine
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 1985-92

A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory
Gangstarr - Daily Operation

Captain Beefheart - Safe As Milk
Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure
David Bowie - Hunky Dory

Slint - Spiderland
Labradford - Mi Media Naranja
GodspeedYouBlackEmperor - Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada

I'll stop there for the time being I think...
