unknown ska song
Greetings, my parents have a single on RIO records R14 catalogue number from 1964/5 definately produced by King Edwards. All details on both labels have been scratched off, because at the time it must've been a killer tune. Has anyone a clue what this song is? My brother and I thought it was a old time singer called Basil Gabbidon, my mother thinks Derrick Morgan, it's similar to Blazing Fire, but slightly faster, and we're sure it's not Derrick Morgan. The chorus suggests the songs called 'I feel so sad' None of those singers discography suggests it's them though. Can anyone help please?

Bobby Aitken "I've Told You" with Bobby Aitken "Please Go Back" on the flip.

Keep it that way, then the rest of your family don't loose their hair trying to work out what the songs are! Thanks for the info. That song seems to be relatively rare these days as a single. Another job for my cousin when he's going back on air. Track me down a copy! Luckily in my attempts to find the single, I found a website that had all blue beat records singles discography, so at least we can identify some of those now.
