'Rizla' lyric?

Post by Version Control »

What's this tune please? I heard it sampled in Dubstep recently and have it running around my head. But I can't remember where it's from to be able to go and listen to the proper version:

"When I was a youth I used to bun it in a Rizla
Now I am a man I smoke it in a Chalwah"

(or something like that). Ta>

could you please tell me which song you heard it sampled in? there is an old prodigy tune with this sample, but i haven't heard any dubstep ones of it and would love to get one!

This lyric is also part of the Welton Irie DJ cut 'Lambs Bread International' - a version to Sylford Walkers 'Lambs Bread'. The Sylford Walker album was expanded and reissued by B&F a while ago with the dub to the DJ cut (leggo the herb man dub) on the 'Termination Dub' set also on B&F.
I am guessing that this lyric has probably been used alot so this may not be the exact one you are after.
