I have a tune that comes from a tape of the David Rodigan Radio London show (circa 1978).
I think it's U Brown and the riddim is either "ain't that loving you" or "pressure and slide"
THE TUNE GOES SOMETHING LIKE:

at the end he does mention "doctorman skank" by Carlton Patterson and King Tubby and the beggining is similar but...
