"Psychedelic Rock" is de same dat "Rockfort Rock" but wid a short DJ stylee intro (suppose it´s instrumental + intro dat Oras says)
Just in case somebody here nuh knows it "Rockfort Rock" is a adaptation of Rafael Hernandez´s "El Cumbanchero" - a latin sound classic

When I get home from work I'll check with the "Studio One Singles Listing & Rhythm Directory"!

It won't be until about 7pm (UK time).

That's if someone doesn't beat me to it in the meantime, of course.

oras wrote:well people if we are talking about the versions cut at studio one sorry but there's no other else.

of course some other producers used the same bassline (joe gibbs with big youth if I'm not wrong etc) on tracks but if you check the title of the thread I think DonDigital was asking about studio one stuff.

studio one rockfort rock versions are:
- instrumental
- instrumental with intro
- jazzbo's cut
- prince francis cut

and that's it!
exactly.

sometimes i dont ovastand what coxsone do but maybe the real hot tracks he dont use to often so they cant get overplyed or something like that. why sugar nevr voice it, w.williams, etc?

Back from work with book in hand and (as predicted by previous posters)........ have nothing to add! :)

The only thing to do now is go downstairs and spin those tunes!! :D

Incidentally, I only bought the book recently so I assume it will be reprinted pretty soon.
