Scientist albums

Post by patrickp »

I bought Vampires and World Cup, which are ace, but was a little disappointed by Pac Man. Which of the other ones are worth getting?

hey bredrin,

ok bro these are the scientist must have albums:

[cover=6649,4663] [cover=3685,3042]

[cover=1399,1616] [cover=1126,1296]

[cover=8106,1650] [cover=1398,1615]

>Scientist Dubs Culture into a Parallel Universe

Here`s definitely the best material of the man but i reckon your first choices are:

1)Scientist meets the space invaders
2)Dub in roots tradition
3)Heavyweight Dub Champion
4)Big Showdown
5)Strike Back
6)Dub Landing

I heard that Scientist meets the roots radics was a irie album.[cover=2528,2914]

hope this helped:D

Peace out!(tu)

World at War is also pretty awesome and has just been re-released on crisp Auralux vinyl:

[cover=4699,4100]

Highly recommended.

I was just thinking about asking this question myself, so very glad to see this post.

I've got a few of the titles mentioned above and I was planning on adding quite a few more soon.

I'd love to see any others that people recommend, but also, are there any other Scientist releases that don't need to be on my must-buy list?

Do people agree that Pac Man is dissapointing?

Thanks for all opinions.

Encounters Pac Man had some killers, but yes not entirely amazing.
If you can find them, check his releases on Kingdom.

The other album I think is an absolute masterpiece is Scientific Dub:

[cover=1751,2060]

Personally I find 'Dub Landing Vol. 1' and 'The Best Dub Album In The World' not that inspiring compared to other Scientist releases, but I'm sure others will disagree...

It's not that great... rather underwhelming and about on the same level as "Pac-Man" IMO.
