I heard a song in the internet, I don't know the name of it, but it goes like "babylon feel this one...the way jah jah do it" I still don't know if this is Bob Marley but it sounds defenetly like him

You can't because it wasn't released

It was just a dubplate, or a special for a sound system in Jamaica, I believe it was Gemini

It may circulate on tape or cdr, check all the Marley collector sites, dunno which one, but search

Greetings, This is a very hard tune, The reason it never ended up on a Island Lp or compilation is besause it was recorded with a few session muscians,and recorded with mostly Twelve Tribe Brethren.

Babylon feel this one was played by JahloveMuzik on Dubplate in late 70's,I beleive it was recorded in either late 77 or 78'

It was released on a bootleg Bob CD called In The Name of the Lord an 18 track release that has mainly alt./demo/unreleased tracks.

On cd the year is 1980 and could very well be true, but I beleive 1978!!

I have this tune on the "In the Name of Lord" Cd. Like Gary said the disc says 1980(?) Studio Demo. This certaintly wouldn't have been a dub-plate, its a little rough at the start and only a little over 2 minutes.However, the dubplate may have come from this session. Most likey this is the version that circulates though. I've seen a pretty comprehensive Wailers Discography- Bob Marley and the Wailers: The Definitive Discography by Roger Steffens and Leroy Pierson-I wonder if he deals with the dubplates.
Anyway, "In The Name of the Lord" is a great disc IMO. Its a mix of demos, alternate Studio takes and rehearsals. This is where I first heard "Jah Live", "Who Colt the Game", "I Know A Place" about 10 years ago. I still prefer this "Jah Live" to the one on the box set.

There was a cleaner version that very few people I know have. 2 weeks ago on free form radio wfmu.org Jeff Sarge played his Dub Plate and it sounded better than cd and my own version,you can listen to that show just check archives of shows for sun feb 5 reggae school room,and you can listen to program,tribute to Bob.

Your Version must have been cut short, as I hace 2 different mixes in addition to CD that was put out 1 version is 5:01 Vocal part and dub is 4:28.

I am thinking that either that song got cut in half and edited,or you have a different mix than I have. But frm what I understand it was only recorded once!! One Drop Style. Jah Guidance

THE ONLY SOUNDSYSTEM THAT PLAYED THAT DUBPLATE AND HAD MASTER TAPES WAS JAHLOVEMUZIK,12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL SOUND FROM JAMAICA.I DOUBT VERY MUCH THAT GEMINI COULD PLAY A TUNE LIKE THAT!!
