There are so many bootleggers out there...Abraham does his thing in Canada, which obviously permits this kind of tradition...But what about Auralux? They have High-quality Lps, covers , the workz..But Sugar Minott told me that he never even knew his double lp on Auralux existed untill he came into our shop and seen it for himself.!!! That sounds like some counterfeit movez right there..And thats a great release for the buyers and sellers, not so much for Sugar and others...
Its hard to say that all of these re-releases AREN'T bootlegged, because some of these artists are long gone and there is serious $ being made...
As for Trade Roots, I can drive around San Diego and see Abraham in places that doesn't even have a crates worth of Reggae!!!
Im straight on selling Abraham..Nuff onez want their dunza back anyway after buying and REALLy listening to those...
Integrity is a serious ingredient to the soup...

i got an abraham record last night called reggae fever by johnnie osbourne. i bought it knowing there was a serious chance of disappointment and 4 of the 12 songs were barrington levy tunes. im not upset you know, because i went in knowing that i wasn't buying a "proper" record. For home listening its cool(ish), for playing out, ah thats another story....
