Hi,
I heard two songs of the Trojan Explosion set,
The Reggae Boys - Me No Born Yah &
The Jamaicans - Baba Boom
So, I know these were released as singles in the 60s, but accept for some singles, not much more. Is there a story about these guys, or just 2 groups who released some singles and nothing more?
Who produced baba boom by the way? Reggae boys was Joe gibbs, but I don't know the other.
Bless.

Re: Jamaicans/Reggae Boys
It's one of the most famous riddims in reggae, produced by Duke Reid....and was the '67 festival song winner. Consisted of Tommy Cowan, Norris Weir, Martin Williams (and at one time before "Ba Ba Boom", Jerry Brown of Summer Records) and made a couple handfuls of very high quality singles for Reid.
