been listening to sound iration LP and also lidj 'black liberation' and lidj meets sound iration 'dub liberation' albums all from late 80s. i really like this sound. anybody know these records? could you recommend some more of this stylee. thanks in advance.

Lidj Inc. was xylon and issu and they had that album plus the dub and there was a various artists album 'dred beat showcase', then they vanished

xylon's vocals is an aquired taste, but the dub album was nice as i recall in that early modern roots style of the 1990s

thanks bullit, and ites, ya i bought both the vocal and dub LPs from lidj back in the day, also the sound iration LP and a 12 called seventh seal. its amazing dub. i quite like the lidj vocal style myself. would like to hear more of that stuff.

you will definitly like the 12" on rootsman pro entitled black consciousness by lidj the real killer is 'rumour of war' also lidj and 'satan disciple' by naptali ruff!!

lol, i hate that . anyway thanks for reply bullit. thought you had forgotten about it. ya i have the sound iration LP and 12". also the lidj LP and the dub LP. read last week that tena stelin does a vocal version of the sound iration album. now thats a record i'd like to hear. got a few pointers so gonna seek them out.
manasseh coming to play here soon with earl 16 so i'll be checking that out too. thanks for reply bullit. respect everytime.
