Hey reggae lovers,
Just putting out a musical suggestion. Theres a band up here is Canada called Bedouin Soundclash that have a heavy reggae influence in their music. There first big album has a cover of "Money Worries" by Toots, very nicely done. One of my favorite bands, check em out! (tu):)

Whoops meant to say Money Worries by the **Maytones**, haha, I'm listening to Toots & the maytals right now, made its way to the keyboard.

Didn't Ernest Wilson do that before them?

hmmm...
a google search for the song came up with results suggesting he did preform the song, but roots archives doesn't list him performing it (not much info about him on this website).
Really good tune, I've only heard the maytones and bedouin versions. Jordandance, If you have a link to where i could hear it that'd be great. But sounds like you're not to sure of it either.

Roots Archives is an album based website - at least as far as the non-forum information. Reggae is a 45-based medium...that cut never saw an original LP. Ernest's tune is from '67, don't think the others predate that.

Mr.G = Roots Rocker Matt (finally registered w/the site!)
Thanks jordandance, I'll have to find it and take a listen. If I hear a cover and like it, I *must* hear the original version. It borders on obsessive

I have the rare Studio 1 12" with it on it (and Bobby Aitken's "Kiss Bam Bam" on the flip) I'll try and upload a piece of it for you.
